Commissioning Engineer £35,000 + Co Car, bens & o’seas allowances (CHP) England
After initial and on-going product training you will be working as a product specialist commissioning new CHP systems of specific bespoke island and parallel installations operating within G59 acceptance utilising medium speed engine plant operating triad, parallel and emergency operating gen sets running on natural gas & bio-gas from renewable sources. Embedded PC and programmable PLC configurable operating controls to obtain maximum efficiency, synchronisation, voltage regulation and calibration to obtain consistent safe operation combined with heat transfer and exhaust emission control to TA LUFT regulation.
To be successful you will have an electrical bias with experience ideally of power generation used to servicing and commissioning diesel or gas fuelled reciprocating engines. You should have a good understanding of control system logic combined with experience of using test equipment like electric power meters, phase rotation meters to exhaust gas analysers. You should also be capable to amend proprietry software codes to improve speed governing, load sharing, grid synochonisation and fuel control modules.
